This is my expense tracker project.

This was my first project after building this site.

It includes a form submission, click and submission handlers, animations and calculation logic.

This was the perfect project for introducing me to the more complex side of React JS involving interactivity and function.

This is BFShop.

This will be my first full-stack project, and an entire business system.

There will be two interfaces - the customer interface, where orders can be placed, with an AI chatbot for making queries.

And the merchant interface, where orders will be logged and stock will be inventoried. Automated workflows utilising AI will work with the backend to make this a fully functioning system.

A bit about me...

I spent my early 20s traveling and making memories. Realizing I needed to get serious, I started learning IT from the ground up. After a year, I landed a job as IT manager at Gibson Watts, where I am now. Now, I'm learning front-end development on the side.

I started by learning how tech works. Binary. Hardware. The internet.Then I moved onto studying for qualifications. I wrote my own textbooks to help me learn. I built countless networkign simulations to understand data transfer. Did countless practice exams.

In the summer of 2025, I bought some networking hardware and configured it all to provide me with an isolated home network, using a 48 port managed switch and Cisco enterprise grade router. Networking was my first love in IT, as I love building and designing.

In October I got my job at Gibson Watts. I learned to understand real world IT; user experience, buggy interfaces, device management, company security, using tools like Azure, Entra and Intune, and GoDaddy, Cloudflare and Wordpress for website management.

I've worked with marketers to build CRM automations, made countless projects in Power Automate, built python code for SEO purposes. I'm now learning web development, with a focus on building systems rather than just lines of code. Soon, I'll learn to integrate AI.

A bit about me...

Having spent my early 20s traveling and making the best memories, I decided it was time to get into a career.

Since finishing uni, I'd always missed studying and learning. IT and computer science was completely alien to me, so I decided that would be my next pursuit.

I built a home network, studyied for certifications, learned all the fundamentals of IT aand posting it all on Linkedin.

I landed a job as the IT manager at Gibson Watts where my time is spent managing microsoft 365, user devices, and the network.

I decided my next endeavour would be programming. I started teaching myself JavaScript React, which is what I've used to build this website.
